So I looked in storage in my notes (while we lived there for a year). I don't know the name of the store but it's located on 45 rue de General Leclerc in the 14th. Metro Alesia. Hope it's still there. They also sell Limoge. One of the best kept secrets in Paris, imo.Hannah Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09813612560660654932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-87589582985093949762009-12-05T14:47:46.280-08:002009-12-05T14:47:46.280-08:00Next time you're in Paris be sure to stop by a...Next time you're in Paris be sure to stop by a particular store that sells porcelain, namely Apilco, that is slightly flawed (has an itty bitty bubble, or small black fleck on the bottom) that could not be sold at retail price. Anyway, before we left Paris, we bought a 12 piece set of plates and salad plates for about $1-2 a piece. Worth every cent and weight in carry on baggage compared to going to pay $10 a plate at Williams-Sonoma who sell the exact same thing. I believe the store was in the teens of the arrondisments...they sell other china and flatware, etc. Cool store.Hannah Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09813612560660654932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-62552325556803101832009-11-20T09:06:39.688-08:002009-11-20T09:06:39.688-08:00I saw some pretty similar ones at william sonoma l...I saw some pretty similar ones at william sonoma last week. This set would be perfect. If you do find something similar in the US, I'd love to hear about it!Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16093561502170114555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-40683405415967240812009-11-19T13:57:51.810-08:002009-11-19T13:57:51.810-08:00I really need those! Having them would eliminate the need for a variety of odd shaped and sized baking dishes that are so hard to store in a kitchen with limited cupboard space! One shelf all stacked together!
