Having lived outside the U.S for the past several years now, I have picked up on some differences myself. However, given that I do not have children of my own, I'm sure you have been granted greater insight on the matter...I've noticed that here in the UK, the a child's behavior is much more linked to class & that a certain amount of discipline is expected the more wealthy the family. I've also noticed a greater reliance on nannies than in the U.S (at first I thought that there were just a lot of young mothers here..then later realized that it wasn't their own offspring that all of those young girls were toting about). Would love to hear more if you are inclined to write about it.LMBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11979838225639567039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-69622667434074607752009-08-11T01:19:47.706-07:002009-08-11T01:19:47.706-07:00Thanks for the view of summer footwear. Thanks for the view of summer footwear.Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07786991087520864962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-57662512799342058532009-08-10T21:26:29.828-07:002009-08-10T21:26:29.828-07:00Yes, please, more about the French style of child ...Yes, please, more about the French style of child rearing when you've the chance to share. Our family (4 boys) were definitely the loud bunch. But everyone was very pleasant. We went to Brantome often for shopping. The shops closed at lunch time which proved to be both quaint and annoying. It was a great experience for the boys, especially since alot of people in the area do not speak English, they were forced to try to speak French.debbiemnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-42174673108747995822009-08-10T19:10:34.841-07:002009-08-10T19:10:34.841-07:00oh stephanie ~ i do so enjoy your postings about y...oh stephanie ~ i do so enjoy your postings about your france adventure! we all know how insanely romantic it must be on one hand, and yet you reveal how 'real' it is on the other ~ the grass is greener on the other side except maybe a thing or two which is true wherever we roam. just wanted to say that i am totally a skirt and dress girl ~ all seasons ... just love the looseness ... maybe a bit of parisian on the prairies?
take good care over there ~
prairiegirlPrairie Girl Studiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13292202443709268131noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-7815107291226950822009-08-10T15:16:00.485-07:002009-08-10T15:16:00.485-07:00Gorgeous Photos Steph, nice post!!Gorgeous Photos Steph, nice post!!rachel @ blackeiffelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00991534542230676521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-3314415740573467392009-08-10T13:22:38.473-07:002009-08-10T13:22:38.473-07:00i'm all aobut the sundress approach to summer....i'm all aobut the sundress approach to summer. especially in hot, hot Texas!Joslynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02355764179533604630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-16130926018755967342009-08-10T13:10:25.488-07:002009-08-10T13:10:25.488-07:00Starr,

The dresses are nothing fancy--again just simple and usually colorful. I see more color than black.
