My most recent recommendations are Nectarine-Raspberry and Strawberry-Kiwi. They both taste like smoothies :) So delicious.Adriennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11538768116275178329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-49887403790028378612011-07-21T17:24:07.495-07:002011-07-21T17:24:07.495-07:00Good for you! A few years ago I started making other jams and jellies using the "inversion method" and now we have peach jam and apple cranberry jelly to go along with our strawberry. I remember how daunting I thought it was to roast a chicken, and now I think it's one of the easiest things to cook. I'm sure it's the same with jam, and yet I haven't crossed that bridge yet. Maybe next year's berry season...Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04604043603331696042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2223574843325201892.post-76219853319474006442011-07-21T06:28:21.288-07:002011-07-21T06:28:21.288-07:00I made freezer jam for the first time about 4 year...I made freezer jam for the first time about 4 years ago, and I was so surprised by how easy it was! It always seemed so daunting because it was something my mom always did each summer and it seemed so Domestic. I make jam each summer now, and this summer I finally branched out and made peach-raspberry, strawberry, peach, and now I'm thinking of trying something with blueberries or adding herbs. It's so fun! And it's wonderful to reap the rewards of the work through the winter when fruit is out of season. (especially when eaten on homemade bread!)Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02141270011785790129noreply@blogger.com
