Dine O' Round Salt Lake City

• 27 April 2007

It's called different things in different cities (Dine About Town, Restaurant Week, Dining Week, and in Salt Lake City, Dine O' Round); however it means the same thing--a fabulous prix-fixe meal for a fabulous price. In Salt Lake City you can enjoy nice restaurants like Metropolitan & Bambara for only $25! Check out the official site for more restaurant listings and details and book those babysitters now...May 4th is approaching quickly! You won't want to miss it....but if you do check back in six months. Due to it's wild popularity, they do it twice a year in SLC now.

In Salt Lake City I recommend (in no specific order):

1. Takashi
2. Faustina (I've heard it's great)
3. Bambara
4. Metropolitan
5. Settebello
6. Caffe Molise (I've read it's pretty good too)

Caveat: If you are heading to NYC or San Francisco in the next year, plan your trip around this event. You will be able to sample some of the nation's best culinary creations for a fraction of the cost. In San Francisco it is usually in January, which is a great time to visit--the weather is fantastic.

Bon Appetit!

  1. Wow, thanks for alerting us to this! If I understand correctly, restaurants have special prices? Or is it that you can have more than one entree?

And my real question - where are you guys gonna go? There are so many choices, we'd like to your expert opinion.

  2. Jerin,

Since we are heading to NY for Mother's Day weekend, I think we'll save our babysitting funds and date night funds for NY; however, we will DEFINITELY hit it in 6 months from now I am sure. We've done this before and loved it. I'd like to try Metropolitan for sure (make reservations asap), in the past I've enjoyed Bambara, I'm slightly intrigued by Caffe Molisse too. Oh and we like Em's--that's in your neck of the woods, bonus.

Thanks so much for taking the time to drop a line. I really appreciate it!
