This is an edited collection of my favorite recipes--all crowd pleasers and all recipes I come back to over and over. Bon appetit!

Crostini with Shiitake Mushrooms, Prosciutto + Blue Cheese

Farmer's Market Crudités with Buttermilk Herb Dip


Pasta:

Baked Ziti with Sausage, Spinach and Tomatoes - add more pasta to the recipe

Pasta with Roasted Cauliflower, Arugula + Prosciutto

Turkey Lasagna

Rigatoni with Sausage + Zucchini


Main Courses:

Pork Chops with Creamy Mushroom Sauce & Mashed Potatoes

Chicken with Mustard Cream and Watercress

Herb Crusted Salmon with Roasted Lemons - go a little easy on the Dijon

Pasta with Roasted Cauliflower, Arugula & Prosciutto

Fennel Crusted Roast Pork

Hazelnut Encrusted Salmon


Spice Rubbed Chicken

Grilled Chicken Sandwiches with Mustard + Creme Fraiche (for an easy make-your-own creme fraiche recipe, click here).

Couscous + Parsley Crusted Fish

Pork Souvlaki (serve with a good Greek salad)

Roast Pork Tenderloin with Mustard-Tarragon Sauce

Parmesan Pork Cutlets with Lemon + Arugula


Salads:

Best Ever Chinese Chicken Salad

Southwestern Salad - great as a main dish too

Butter Lettuce Salad with Bacon, Dried Cherries & Roquefort Dressing

Fresh Corn Salad

Romaine and Roasted Beet Salad

Carrot Souffle

Scallops in Parchment (sear the scallops first--very important)

Spaghetti Squash with Jalopeno Cream

Simple Cheese Souffle

Rosemary Corn Muffins

Potato Fennel Gratin

Fresh Corn Souffle with Bacon & Comte


Soups:

Lentil Sausage Soup - Harmons Mild Italian/Spicy Italian is perfect

Roasted Tomato Soup

Winter Squash Soup - even without the Gruyere croutons, this is the best squash soup!


Breakfast:

Banana Sour Cream Pancakes

Banana Crunch Muffins - French Vanilla granola is fantastic in this recipe

Quiche Lorraine - great for lunch or even dinner too (with a salad)

Wild Mushroom Quiche - ditto


Desserts:

Heavenly Gray Sea Salt Brownies

  6. Looking forward to trying the cheese souffles. In a college class (about a hundred years ago) we made a variety of of souffles one day and it was the funnest experience. I'd been looking for a recipe to try this out again and I love that this one can be done in a couple of ramekins. Thanks a bunch!
