Situated between Florence and Rome is a lovely villa/hotel called La Bandita. If you're looking for a unique vacation spot (like I am!) this might fit the bill. I love the idea of taking a walk amongst the grazing sheep, enjoying a family style Italian supper with other hotel guests, and someone doing my laundry (personal favorite!). Lots of little ammenities are included in the nightly rate which I appreciate. My pet peeve is hotels charging for every little thing--water, internet, a phone call, parking, etc. Click here for more info on La Bandita in Tuscany.
This man and his wife are livng my dream! This is the kind of place I would want to spend a few months at and he definitely seems to have captured his heart's desire - to slow down and enjoy life while giving others the same opportunity! Love it!
