Over the past few months several bloggers asked how I revamped my banner so I thought I'd share the information I used.
I first went to a post written by a guest mom on Design Mom. Her name is Amy M. Click here to read her post. Super helpful. This is priceless information for the non-tech-savvy blogger.
There were just a few bits of information missing from this post as to how to create a banner on my particular template so I found myself at Tips for New Bloggers and found those last little tidbits I needed. Click here to head to that post.
I'll be honest, this took me hours to create so allot an entire evening to creating your banner. You will also need Photoshop to do what I did (adding text to the picture). Good luck!

ReplyDeleteHint: istockphoto.com has great illustrations for banners. Type in grunge and search in illustrations. There are some fun and funky designs -happy hunting!
