Regarding E.'s fascination with where things are made:

E: Mommy, this bouncy ball is made in...let's see...China!

Me: Really? Wow.

E: I guess there are more things made in China than in Utah!

Me: (thinking...you think?)

Regarding E.'s fascination with geography:

E: Mommy, Russia is the biggest thing in the world!

M: You're right E., it is the largest country in the world.

E: It's even bigger than China! the United States! and even bigger than Utah!

We need to go on a trip...

One morning while getting ready in the bathroom with two of the kids:

L. (in all seriousness): "Mommy, you have same glasses as Santa?"

Me: "You think my glasses look like Santas?"

L.: "Yeah, Mommy!"

I'll take that as a not-so-subtle hint that I need new glasses...who wants to be compared to an 80-year-old man, even if he is Santa! :)
