Tubtrug GIVEAWAY

• 05 February 2008

When my Dad was a young boy, his father told him that if he could come up with a practical use for old tires, he'd be a rich man someday. Although my father did not come up with such an idea, thankfully an eco-savvy couple from England did. The end result you ask? Tubtrugs my friends.

As featured in Domino magazine last month, these recycled rubber containers/baskets/tubs/you-name-it really can be used for anything. Wait until you see all the "uses" listed on their website. Oh the things you can schlep! Anyway, hip designers aren't the only people wanting to get their hands on one of these...I'm sure you do too.

Well, look who is a lucky duck today? The kind folks over at Tubtrugs are offering up one small Tubtrug ($13 value) to the winner of this giveaway. You even get to pick the color (good luck deciding!) but I'm leaning towards "red" myself because that's what I spotted on the glossy pages of Domino. But then again that doesn't really matter because I don't enter my own giveaways :)

If you don't win the giveaway you are not out of luck. Tubtrugs, although manufactured in Europe, are fairly recently available in the US. You can find them here, here, here, here or here.

Giveaway Guidelines:

- You have 6 days to enter this giveaway (closes Monday, February 11th).
- Make a comment on THIS POST to enter.
- All anonymous comments will be ignored.
- One entry per person please.
- The randomly chosen winner will be announced Tuesday, February 12th
- Giveaway winner must email me by Monday, February 18 at 5 p.m. to secure prize.

Thank you Tubtrugs!

P.S. Is generosity in the air or what? These giveaways are way too much fun!
