Words cannot describe how much I love this kitchen.
Favorite Aspects:
Dualit retro toaster
subway tile
modern bar stools
brushed metal pot rack
white cabinets
I even love the way they styled the kitchen with Izze's (yum! it looks like Pear) and Meyer lemons. Yup, it's pretty much my dream kitchen!
it's fabulous! What are the countertops and floor made of, do you know?
ReplyDeleteI stumbled into your blog via the link from Oh Happy Day and I must say...I fell hard and quickly. I spent a good portion of my day yesterday reading your past posts and have to thank you for a variety of reasons:
ReplyDelete1. I've been looking for the perfect dessert to make for an afternoon party we're having on Easter and Ina's Lemon Cakes are perfect!
2. The lemon curd recipe will also be used so I can serve alongside the lemon cakes.
3. Your tip on the mason jars will be used repeatedly for gift giving.
4. I loved reading the article on Anthropologie you linked to awhile back. I even posted it on my blog so my family can try and understand my love of that store.
5. I've fallen head over heels in love with the birdie stationery at avie designs and had I not been looking for return address labels, and therefore clicked on your long ago post on them, I wouldn't have found them.
Thank you...THANK YOU for all the great tips and fun stories. I look forward to checking in daily!

In our new home I'm doing an all white kitchen! It's all just getting installed but I'm loving it so far... White is such a classic!
ReplyDeleteLast week while in Amish country, I saw a white bedroom set with cherry stained trim. The drawers had brushed nickel and glass hardware in the same style as this kitchen...it was fab! Gave it a retro look that was simple yet elegant. I, too, have fallen in love with this look.
ReplyDeletethat's a pretty swell kitchen...it will age well.
ReplyDeleteHi, I just stumbled across your blog from a link on Oh Happy Day. I posted the same kitchen on my blog a few weeks ago after drooling over the picture in the catalog. It is lovely.
