It's not an everyday occurrence for us to attend "black-tie preferred" weddings...especially those with a Napa Valley address! This made for a very special evening--one that we'll remember forever.
I felt rather economic as I prepared for this wedding...I decided to borrow a dress from a dear friend (thank you Ali!), wear jewelry from my Mom's wedding last year and don some fancy hosiery I bought in Paris a few years ago (great, sturdy hosiery in France!). That left only shoes to purchase...and lucky for me, I found Pour La Victoire patent leather heels on sale for $58. Cha-ching.
All in all it was a great weekend...although, I could've lived without my little guy heading to the hospital for one night while we were away. What are the odds? Seriously. Thank heavens for good friends & family.
