stephmodo: Pumpkin Patchin'

Pumpkin Patchin'

• 31 October 2008

During the last week of our CSA, the farm offers all participants free reign in their pumpkin patch...much to the kids' delight. Each family member is allowed to choose one pumpkin, any pumpkin, and this makes for quite the search. It was a gorgeous Fall day and we enjoyed this short n' sweet activity to its fullest. The nearby corn field made for some great hide & seek as well. (Oh the stories their Mom has to tell about hiding out in corn fields :)

Afterwards we stopped at nearby Day Farms and picked up some freshly picked apples and a few more gourds for the front steps...all well-priced and perfectly delicious. All in all a great day.
