If you're going to do egg nog, do it right...as in, don't waste your calories on mediocre versions!
"Do it Right" Version:
* Organic Valley Egg Nog (in SLC I've only seen it at Whole Foods but elsewhere, in Seattle for example, you can find it at nice grocery stores)
* freshly grated whole nutmeg (the least expensive place to pick it up is at Cost Plus World Market)
Directions: Pour about a half cup of egg nog into a small glass. Using a microplane zester (Williams Sonoma, Target, Cost Plus World Market) grate about 1/8 of a teaspoon nutmeg over each glass.
Kick back and savor :)
