The Visitor: a Must See
• 13 March 2009
A lovely movie about the sensitive topic of immigration. Add it to your Netflix queue, rent it at your local video store, just make sure you get your hands on it somehow! I am so grateful I saw this film--it's incredibly well done on so many levels.
I think it's still available on redbox too. That's only a dollar - greatest deal ever!
ReplyDeleteI agree...I loved this one, too!

ReplyDeleteOh my, I just saw this last night with my hubbie. I woke up thinking about "getting the word out" about this beautiful film. Somehow sad and incredibly uplifting at the same time. Don't you want a little drum in your life now? :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband "made" me watch this movie. I am so glad I did!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestion. I'm in for a lovely movie that isn't rated R. It seems everything is these days...
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I saw this last year and really loved it. It was so moving.
ReplyDeleteNetflix has it on Instant Play, so no need to wait for the mailman. I will watch it tomorrow! Thanks for the tip.
ReplyDeleteWe rented this tonight on your recommendation. Loved. It. It'll keep me thinking for a while yet. And not to be a total geek, but yesterday I was visiting friends in SLC (I live in Logan) and SO wanted to go to Tulie Bakery, but they had JUST CLOSED when I got there! It looked wonderful - I can't wait to get back down there and try again. :) Thank you for all of your wonderful recommendations - keep em coming!
ReplyDeleteI went and rented the movie! It was a great show, very eye opening. I also made your lemon curd yesterday with the lemon cake (Which I made into cupcakes). What a yummy treat! I can't wait to use the leftover for crepes.
ReplyDeleteOh I loved this movie as well!
ReplyDeleteI love that movie too!
