Grouping Frames on a Wall
• 06 April 2009
I love the look of a well-executed collage of picture frames, but find it challenging to pull off myself. So when I see a beautifully-balanced {yet still random} grouping of frames, I like to save them in my binder. Someday, I'd like to try and pull off these two looks. I absolutely love them, especially the left image.

I can't do it either. I usually stick to all black or all white frames.
ReplyDeleteThese are great examples though...
I've done this over my couch and I really like the slightly crooked mismatched look! It's my favorite spot actually.
ReplyDeleteHi Steph, Just wondering if you have some fabulous easter dessert recipe up your sleeve for this year? I really loved the look of the meyer lemon recipe you wrote about earlier (with the dessert right in the lemon), but I'm not sure if we have meyers lemons where I live. Would it work with normal lemons or what other suggestions might you have? Sorry for all of the questions, but you're my go-to gal for elegant and not too difficult recipes!
ReplyDeleteI have bunches and bunches of gallery wall inspiration photos but I can't seem to get it to look this good either. I absolutely love the one on the left.
ReplyDeleteI have a folder full of these collections too! I am redoing our bedroom and really want to do it over our low long dresser. I think I am going to just do it!
ReplyDeleteme too! and nicely decorated bookshelves, the kind that don't look like much effort went into it, but in fact it takes a special talent to pull it off.
ReplyDeleteI have one that I've put together in my daughter's room. Every time I find an old white frame I add it in somehow. It's working, I think (at least for me anyhow).
ReplyDeleteDitto - this is something i want to do all over my house. I found some great pictures on sfgirlbybay and posted them on my blog:

Good inspiration!
I have always loved the look of hanging pictures like this! I just can't find out how people do it!! Thank you for the examples!
ReplyDeleteSo funny, I have a wall in my entryway that I have devoted to a collage and still haven't pulled the trigger for fear of doing it wrong!

Hi.
ReplyDeleteyour blog is full of inspirations!
thanks for sharing!
:)
Jennifer, you can definitely use conventional lemons for this recipe. I typically do unless I am lucky enough to find Meyers. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteJoolee, thanks for the link to sfgirlbybay's post on a similar subject. I loved her examples too!
