I love the idea of cereal in the morning due to the major convenience factor, but honestly it is so difficult to find anything tasty and nutritious…even at Whole Foods. During a recent outing to the local grocery store I perused the section marked “Great Britain”. I curiously inspected what I’ve been missing on the other side of The Pond. I spotted these beautifully packaged Dorset Cereals and I confess they are so good and so unlike anything I’ve ever eaten. They practically taste homemade if you can believe it. In fact, two days ago I ate a bowl for both breakfast and dinner yesterday. Yes, it was that kind of day…we were busy prepping for our first renters :)

That's exactly what I ate for breakfast this morning--only I got my muesli from my local health food store from the bulk bins. Sure, it's not packaged as nicely, but you get the same thing for a fraction of the cost. You can always dish the plastic baggie for a cute canister.
ReplyDeleteMy tip? Instead of milk I eat mine with plain yogurt and fresh fruit, this time of year it's peaches.

I love this cereal. They sell it in Switzerland as well. We know make our own cereal.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you about the Dancing Berries Cereal by Agi's Raw food. I bought it at the Provo Farmers market and love it. I dislike cereal and almost all breakfast foods but love this. It is very healthy, it has these ingredients:Ingredients
Ingredients: Raw buckwheat groats, Sunflower seeds, Walnuts, Almonds, Pumpkin seeds, Raisins, Dried, Cranberries, Goji Berries, Dried currants, Dried Blueberries, Cinnamon powder. You soak it overnight in water. I then add pineapple juice and almond milk. You should try it!
I adore French granola, somehow it's not exactly the same in the US. My favorite I found at a little B&B in Nice.
