The town next door hosted it's annual vide grenier last week and of course, I couldn't miss it! It was tricky though as they did something very different than most towns. Instead of having all the vendors together in a common area (like a large building, a park, a field or a parking lot) they had people selling their wares all over the town. I pushed the stroller up and down old cobblestone streets until I couldn't do it any longer. Luckily at that point I'd already found some fun things and felt good about heading home. Here's a little summary:
1. vintage album- I know someone who might love an old piece of French vinyl in good condition...and that design! love it.
2. a copy of a recent edition of Marie Claire Idees- all those cherry ideas have my mind spinning; time to plan a little party.
3. a vintage children's book about a brother and sister who travel around France together; it's a nice summary of all the different cultures and regions represented in France.
oh Marie Clair Ideas!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever commented before, but I wanted to tell you how much I love your blog! Lovely ideas and photos. And thanks for the tomato soup recipe, I made it last night and it was absolutely divine--plus my kids loved it too, which makes it a true winner!
ReplyDeleteThose are some sweet vintage illustrations. Charming, I think, would be the right word.
