I love taking in all the different ways people set their tables, as I find it so helpful and inspiring. For example, I wouldn't have thought to arrange table runners along the short side of the table (versus running the length of the table). In addition, the circle placemats used in the second image add a softness to the arrangement that I like a lot. As I'm writing this post I'm realizing that I can't wait to sit my family around a kitchen table again and put some of these ideas to good use! It's going to be fantastic to get settled sometime {hopefully} soon.

i love these too! does anyone happen to know about the identity of the chairs in the second photo? would love to get a few!
