oh honey i hear ya. there HAS been breaks of sun and dryness, but not much. what a LOOOOOOng winter we've had! glad you got away. now let's hope that forecast changes for good! safe travels! xo liz
Haha - I knew what you were going to say as soon as I read the title! The sun did come out for a little while this afternoon :) The flowers are so beautiful right now, so maybe that can serve as some motivation to come back. You can pick up a sunny bouquet of daffodils at the market for a mere $5. That always cheers me up.
soooo... a true Seattlite or two has probably said this to you... but I'll say it again - this year was not normal. i promise. it was too cold and too rainy. i've lived here all of my life and don't complain about the weather, but this year.. eh. so, hang in there - summer is just bound to be better!!! ps - i thought of you when i was walking around Ballard the other day and i saw this midcentury furniture shop for the first time: http://motelballard.blogspot.com/
Andrea, your comment was deleted by Blogger during all that drama last week, but I thought I'd reply anyway! Loved that shop rec you sent over. Can't wait to hit Ballard soon and check it out! Thank you!
Perfect weather! Hope you have had a great stay! It looks dreamy from the blog posts!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you. I wouldn't want to go home either. Hope you're having a wonderful vacation!
ReplyDeleteOkay the weather difference? Cracks me up! But just think... Seattle can definitely be GORGEOUS in the summer!

ReplyDeleteIt's really not so bad...last Saturday was divine and today I see sun!
ReplyDeleteIt could be worse - like here in your former stomping grounds. It seems like it has snowed every other day here all month - including today!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are awesome at lifting a girl's spirits...thanks for the notes!
ReplyDeleteBecky, I seriously got so sick of snow in Utah...in the Spring...when it snowed on May 1st I about had it!
