Favorite Spring Dress

If you've read this blog for any amount of time, you know I love to dish when I find something great for an equally great price. See, there's this great little chambray dress from Target I've put to use this Spring--it turns out it's the ideal transitional piece when worn with riding boots--and it's just $25. Worn on its own, or accessorized with a pretty scarf, it's a nice, casual piece for everyday. When it warms up around here, which more seasoned locals tell me is coming up soon, I plan on replacing the boots with an open-toed wedge or espadrilles. For that price I should almost buy 2. One thing I've learned over the years is that Target never brings back product after it sells out--when it's gone, it's gone.

I wanted to post about this chambray dress last week, but struggled finding a decent picture (I love Target and all, but they could definitely use some help in the product image category). Luckily I spotted a gorgeous gal donning what appears to be the exact same frock over at Oh Happy Day--the model in the Yahoo Envelope Surprise post wears it so well! I love how she cleverly replaced the attached belt with another piece she owns. And since the super-talented Aubrey Trinnaman took the picture it's perfectly pretty.

  3. It is a great dress. Target does sell out fast. I bought the last one but had to go up a size. I think it will be OK with the fabric tie included. You have to act fast if you see something you like while there once it makes the Sunday circular it is gone.
