stephmodo: Winter Wedding Ideas from France

Winter Wedding Ideas from France

• 11 December 2011

When I spotted these images in French wedding magazine, Oui (such a cute name for a wedding publication!), I immediately thought of how thrilled I would be if I were getting married during the winter.  To be perfectly honest, I would never have imagined a long cardigan would look so stylish over a ruffled wedding dress!  Sometimes it's so difficult to imagine a winter wedding dress ensemble that's as gorgeous as anything you'd see in the warmer months.  But these gorgeous depictions show how cozy, and how beautiful a bride--and her wedding--can be in the middle of January.  Stunning.

  1. Wow! It makes me want to get married again to my lovely wife, and then ski down the alps together like James Bond :)

  3. They are beautiful images, very romantic! I attended a January wedding in France; it was outside Paris and went from civic hall, to church, to chateau (with a stop for us at a cafe for hot chocolate to warm up after the civil ceremony). The bride wore a cropped white fur cape over her gown, very elegant. I like Husbandmodo's comment - at the very least you should have a winter 'second honeymoon' at your lovely French nest (even if you don't manage the James Bond moment)!

  4. Hi there I'm trying to find the scarf and hat from the picture on the right, do you know where I might find them?
