After learning a few months ago that Forever 21 was planning on settling its roots in SLC's Gateway, I've been pretty excited about the fashion prospects ahead. This week they finally opened and I have to confess I am pretty excited about it. Granted I would never buy 90% of it for a variety of reasons, but when you find a FABULOUS Anthropologie-esque top or jacket for under $30, you cannot imagine the bliss. Prices like that leave plenty of cash leftover for designer jeans to match! (especially if you buy them at Nordstrom Rack for half off retail prices)
Today I found a linen Audrey Hepburn style cropped jacket with a big button on top and contrasted stitching for only $28. It would be perfect with a pair of skinny jeans and flats or with a pencil skirt and blouse. You simply cannot beat the pricing. This is not the place to buy high-quality basics but rather somewhat disposable "fun" additions to your wardrobe. I can't wait to go back sans my three kids (what was I thinking?).
