More from San Francisco: Historic Ferry Building

• 03 April 2007

For foodies the historic Ferry Building in San Francisco is the closest thing to heaven on earth. The building is not only a place where (surprise!) one catches a ferry but it is also a gourmet food marketplace. You have the mushroom man at Far West Fungi, organic lavendar at Capay Organics, tarragon grapefruit chocolates at Recchuiti, crab louis salad at Hog Oyster Co. and the best artisan cheese you've ever tasted at Cowgirl Creamery. Of course there are many other vendors, those are just a few I can think of off hand. It is truly a tasty experience. For more information on the history of the building and other vendors located inside the building click here.
