NY: Taste Test

Remember that post about the grape juice from Navarro Vineyards? Well you'd never guess what they had on the menu at Jean Georges....two varieties of that very grape juice I craved! I couldn't believe my eyes. Needless to say we sampled both. Ben thought them both to be too sweet (grapes used in wine, and in this case juice, are more sweet and tasty than conventional grapes) but I thoroughly enjoyed the Pinot Noir. I'd definitely purchase a few bottles of that for special occasions or dinner parties. I still am blown away at the coincidental nature of that find! I still think it's so great that someone out there is creating a special beverage made for non-drinkers.
