Heard

On route to the park to meet friends Kristin & Gavin, we encountered a man retrieving a baseball (the sidewalk skirts a baseball diamond). Being the social creatures they are, the kids greeted him.

E & L: "Hi!!!"

Retriever: "Howdy."

E (in a hushed whisper): "Mom, is that man speaking another language?"
