Heard

It's rare but it does happen--those moments when you realize you are actually doing something right in parenting amidst all the things you do wrong. I had one of those this morning.


While getting ready the kids requested music. Easy enough, I love doing things to music too! I searched through my mom's vast CD collection and chose Boz Scaggs Live in San Francisco. I put it in the CD player and the first song came on, "Lowdown".


E. shouted, "Hooray! This is my favorite song!"...then her cousin chimed in, "Me too! I love this song!". Boy, you gals sure know how to make your mamas proud!
