I see stacks of white books in virtually every professionally styled catalog and design magazine. I found myself drawn to this ultra clean look but didn't want to spend much money on creating it in my own home. I found myself cruising the aisles of Bukoos as well as the bargain book sections of B&N & Borders. For about $25 I found some beautiful white books, on interesting subjects, with pretty pages to boot.
It's easy to create this look on a budget because most retailers considerably mark down books with damaged jackets. Since I didn't need the jackets for this project I scored book after book for under $10 for a hardback! My stack isn't as tall as I'd like but I'm still looking!
