I don't normally mention weekend events but this weekend is an exception. There are more than a few things going on worth sharing so sharing I will do. Enjoy!
1. Art Market Utah at the Sugar House Park garden center. I loved it at Christmas and am officially hooked. I am definitely stopping by this one.

3. Remember the So Cupcake Giveaway here a few weeks ago? Remember these tantalizing red velvet cupcakes so generously offered up by cupcake extraordinaire Natalie Jensen? Well you are about to have the opportunity to taste one yourself. So Cupcake is opening on Saturday, February 9 at 10 a.m. Yes it's true...the "grand opening" is finally here! So drop by the shop and take a bite out of one of the best cupcakes you'll ever consume.

ReplyDeleteI just sampled a few of the "So Cupcakes". They were good and can definitely satisfy a sweet craving, but they don't hold a candle to "Sprinkles" cupcakes in So. Cal. For $2.50 a pop they are awefully dinky and not very unique. However, since we will surely never get a Sprinkles Cupcake Bakery in Utah I will probably return to So Cupcakes. Hope you don't mind a slightly negative review of your bakery, Steph; just gotta be honest.
ReplyDeleteI have never sampled Sprinkles personally but I've had many an over-priced city cupcake and I think these are still great! They (I sampled more than a few at the pre-grand opening last night) definitely satisfied my sweet craving and the extended hours makes it the perfect place for an afternoon treat.
