Going Organic~Where to Start

• 01 April 2008

If you are interested in buying more organic food for your family but don't know where to start, here is an excellent post by Brittney over at Tangled & True to read. It prioritizes foods so you know what is most important to choose organic and why. Knowing this type of information helps me know how to better spend my grocery budget.

A few little tips about shopping at Whole Foods:

1. shop only the sale items--you know, the ones they use to lure you into the store hoping you'll also buy all their other marked up goods :)

2. if you buy organic milk (#1 on my list since I have girls) then buy it here. It is usually cheaper at Whole Foods than at Costco; plus, you have more options (1%, 2%, whole) as Costco only carries 1%.

  2. Thanks so much Steph, what a help to have the list prioritized. Do you have any recommendations for reading on the subject of the different kinds of milk?
