Some days it's hot and some days it's cold. I tried to come up with a menu suitable for the change in weather. Cozy food for some days, and grilled up goodness for others. What else is a girl to do?
Pork Souvlaki, baked pita crisps, Greek salad
Spicy Garbanzo Bean & Turkey Sausage Soup (cut the jalopeno content in half if you have kids), toasted Beehive White from Great Harvest (any toast will do though!)
Herb Roasted Chicken, potatoes, salad, baguette
Barefoot Contessa Cheddar Corn Chowder (had to use up the last of my Costco corn!)
Cauliflower & Ham Gratin (a natural hit last time we made it so here we go again!), steamed broccoli, baguette
i love that corn chowder recipe of ina's. i make it all the time, too!
ReplyDeleteI think your gratin recipe has the chowder link. I'd love to get the recipe.
ReplyDeleteI have a request! (But it's totally cool if you don't want to . . .) So, I was trying to decide what to make for some treats the other day, when I thought, I'll go to Steph's blog! There's always something good to eat there! When I realized I'd have to scroll through all your posts to find a recipe, it seemed a little daunting, so I grabbed the coconut cupcake recipe from your sidebar (they were awesome), and then decided to ask if you could add a label list in the future. Pretty please? :)
ReplyDeleteMichiko,
ReplyDeleteI realize I should've kept labeling a long time ago. Now I am so fargone it is daunting for me to go back and relabel. Perhaps I'll just try to do that more in the future. I'll see what I can do :)
