Seattle Locks

It's an understatement to say the kids enjoyed hanging out at the locks in Seattle. Watching the little boats come in and out as the water rose and fell was super cool in their book. I confess, I was pretty engaged as well. I can't remember the last time I witnessed this simple, but amazing process. I also like the fact that locks still exist to be honest. Good old-fashioned "technology".

Beautiful photos! It was funny, though....at first look I thought that was a HUGE flowering tree above a wall behind the kids! I had to zoom in to see that it was a separate photo. Love ya, MOM
