stephmodo: She's Walking!

She's Walking!

• 11 August 2008

...finally! (I was a little worried there) Perhaps she wanted to save it for France? Walking on cobblestones is so much more fun you know. Oh that red hair and all the stubbornness that goes along with it!

Here she is walking in front of the Sorbonne...heading in the wrong direction of course :)

...and along the Seine...

  2. Oh, I love the first time they start walking! My thirteen-month-old is starting to take her first steps but isn't stable enough to take off yet. How old is your little walker?

  4. I knew she was going to be just like her mama and her aunties....She was going to do it when she was good and ready! Now look out! BTW the 80th b'day bash was a great success, and everyone loved the invitations you made! She had a fabulous turnout! We missed you being here for it! XO

She is 17 1/2 months! My other children walked at 13 months but this one took her time!

  7. My little boy waited until a trip to Barcelona to take his first steps! Maybe the excitement of a big trip is a motivation. Great pictures!

  9. What a wonderful story you'll always be able to tell her - that she learned to walk in Paris!

Can I say how completely jealous I am of your adventure? Soak it up, my friend. Enough for the two of us!

p.s. the deal with D.'s fellowship was a trip to Paris when he's done. Only three years to go ... :)
