stephmodo: Elevating the Simple

Elevating the Simple

• 12 November 2008

Sometimes we can heighten the simplest of things with the addition of a pretty bowl, vase or plate. I like using this bowl in my kitchen to hold my fruit and such. Some would say it's too nice to be used everyday, but I say that making every day special is more fun :)

You can find an abundance of pewter pieces with simple lines here...including this pretty square shaped bowl, and these salt & pepper shakers. I love this holiday arrangement depicted in this blog post. Gorgeous!

  3. I used to be the Manager for Sandstone Design that was bought out by Old Town Imports. I have so much of this stuff! Ornaments, Stocking Hangers you name it. I have that same bowl and it's one of my favorite! It's such a versatile product.

  4. I've admired that bowl before. My favorite is a Talavera bowl I found. Right now it has a variety of small squash.
