Bye Bye Domino

• 28 January 2009

'Tis a sad day for us all...hip style magazine Domino is shutting down this Spring according to this article (thank you Amy Hackworth for passing this along). I glean so much inspiration from its pages...I can't imagine being without! While I do love other "shelter" magazines, no one does it like Domino. I'm genuinely sad about this...first Blueprint, then Domino...and the rumor has it, Cottage Living too.

It looks like the March 2009 will be the last issue so savor it fully.

  6. ps- I totally think you should do a post about "Post Domino Life". I'm a little lost when it comes to thinking of another magazine to have as my "go-to" for design inspiration. I would love to hear your suggestions and favorites, as I'm sure you have some.

  7. Yes, the truth of Cottage Living made me sad when I got a note in the mail that I will now be getting "This Old House" in place of the defunk magazine. How very sad! If my Coastal Living goes, I may go into major depression. It's a sad day all around.
