I just might have to "up" my trips to Target given the recent announcement of Orla Kiely's soon-to-arrive line of housewares. I'm not sure my once-every-two-months stipulation is going to fly :) I find shopping there quite tempting given how inexpensive and well-designed many things are--Orla Kiely being no exception. Must.stay.within.budget. :)

Why do I have to like everything I see at Target? Those plates are cute and would be perfect in my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI'd love for you to do a post on your limited shopping excursions to Target and Ikea. You've mentioned that in the past and it intrigues me -- and sounds like something I should be doing. How did you decide on a schedule? Do you keep lists for when you will go? I'd love to know more!

ReplyDeleteI've seen this on many other blogs as well. Very exciting. You have amazing self control in limiting your trips to Target. If I don't go at least once a week I start to get anxious... :)
ReplyDeleteLisa, there isn't much to say about my limited shopping excursions except that they are just that--limited. I do this to stay on budget...for some reason my self-control goes out the big red doors when I step foot into the bullseye. With so many well-designed and well-priced wonders, it's hard to resist. I'm due up for a trip here pretty quick and can't wait. I cherish them so much more now! The same for IKEA...there is always something little I think I can use so it's best to head there quarterly :)
