Petite Pattern: Kids & Toys

• 05 January 2009

The Speckled Egg showcased this beautiful book that has me, a person very unfamiliar with Photoshop, swooning nonetheless. All of a sudden I'm considering Alma's Illustrator class, or maybe a class through the community, so that I can fully appreciate a book like this.

I know I've mentioned this before but I really do love all the patterns coming out of Japan these days. I can't get enough of the little hedgehogs, deer, and Paris prints. This book definitely feeds my petite Japanese obsession. It's sister book, featuring Scandinavian patterns is also tempting...in fact, the whole darn collection poses a dilemma...which to try first?
