After a bad haircut this weekend, I had to do something to make myself feel better and resist the urge to don a brown paper bag over my head...permanently. But, I guess that's what I get for walking into a new salon, to a new stylist, and giving him a good amount of creative license. Not the smartest move I've made :)
So what did I do? Purchase a Bobbi Brown lipcolor I've wanted for a few months now. I love her lipcolors--they are beautiful neutrals that don't give you that "painted on" look. They don't taste yucky and they glide on smooth and creamy. So until my hair grows out, this little pick-me-up will have to do.
I'm also impressed with everything I've read about her and thought I'd include her "lifestyle tips" in this post too. All good mantras to abide by...

ReplyDeleteI did the same thing two weeks ago, but the new stylist is my new next-door neighbor. I looked like a boy with spiky hair--it was horrible!
ReplyDeleteIt's growing out now... but I should still try out a little Bobbi Brown lipcolor. I deserve it!
The medium bronzer and tinted lip balm are my all time faves- i use them year round!

ReplyDeleteOh no! That's honestly the worst. Your smart to get a little pick-me-up though:) I also love Bobbi Brown makeup, I have a peachy pink lipgloss that I wear almost daily. It's wonderful!
