Turquoise Accents, Part 2
• 09 February 2009
Remember the post last week about "turquoise accents"? Well, I couldn't resist adding my own after finding a few pillows at Homegoods for $13 each. The pillows had some wooden beads embroidered on the buttons, but after careful execution with a pair of narrow scissors, I was able to detach them all for a cleaner look. With all the gray at this time of year, it's so nice to add a fun color like turquoise, which surprisingly doesn't look too "summery".
Where did you get your armless chairs? And are they comfortable? I've been contemplating purchasing some for our formal living area.
ReplyDeletelove the turquoise with the picture over the mantel!
ReplyDeleteso pretty. love that lamp and painting too.
ReplyDeleteMegan, I bought the chairs from Overstock.com. I love the shape and while they are comfortable, they aren't the MOST comfortable chairs in the world. But, for the price they do the trick!
ReplyDeletemy all-time favorite accent color.

ReplyDeleteStephanie: What a beautiful scene! Lynne told me about your amazing painting. I love it!
