stephmodo: Daisy Lids for Mason Jars

Daisy Lids for Mason Jars

• 23 March 2009

I love this simple party tip because it works for children and grownups alike. If only I had a little girl born in the summer...think of the possibilities for a "daisy-themed" party! This entertaining tip will definitely be bookmarked for warmer days.

p.s. can you tell I'm ready for Spring to arrive?

  1. Cute idea! I bookmarked it for a possible party idea for my Sept. baby. She turns 2 this year.

  2. I wish I had a summer baby too! Summer birthday parties seem to be the best and I would love to have one outside. It seems like it would be such low stress.

  4. I take mason jars full of water and lemon on picnics all the time. It makes me "old fashioned."

  7. these are great. i have a party conundrum that i hope you can help me answer. we had people over for a casual pizza gathering the other day. we used glasses for drinks and because people were milling around and setting their glasses in various places, by the end no one could remember which glass was theirs. They aren't stemmed glasses so those markers won't work. And they are not plastic, so you can't use a sharpie to label them. any ideas on classy, easy ways to differentiate glasses?

  8. Robin, I wonder if you could use those colored sticks they serve with drinks sometimes? Something you just put inside the glass...people just have to remember what color which should be fairly easy, no?

  10. It's a funny one... but what I like to do is get out the colored straws! The funny part? I ALWAYS give the pink and purple straws to the boys ;)
