Mango Sauce

I am always up for discovering new, non-corn-syrup alternatives for pancakes, waffles, french toast, etc. My all-time favorite is pure maple syrup (if you buy the store brand it isn't too expensive); but I discovered a new and probably healthier option this week--Mango Sauce. It's surprisingly delicious and very refreshing. You don't feel that over-sugared feeling after consuming it either. But, I think the best part is how easy it is to make...the recipe calls for a mere 3 ingredients!

I will have to try that one! We love pancakes and waffles here. I also like to look for fun topping ideas.

I recently read that pure maple syrup is a "superfood" because of the antioxidants! That makes me feel better about slathering it on all of our pancakes! This sauce sounds delicious!

Pure maple syrup is where it's at. How people use Aunt Jemima is beyond me. Costco usually carries pure maple syrup for less - we go through it so fast! Another favorite and easy topping, though, is to take frozen mixed berries, add a little squeeze of lemon and a sprinkling of sugar (or honestly, nothing at all - the berries are great on their own), and warm them up in the microwave. That's it! Super easy and makes a very tasty topping.

Hey, thanks for the recipe. I just made it this morning and it was so great over pancakes -- the lemon is a little extra flavor I wouldn't have thought to pair with mango and it really is delicious!
