stephmodo: Vintage Labels

Vintage Labels

Is anyone else ga-ga over these vintage labels? I know I'm trying to come up with all sorts of uses for them myself. The price points make them guilt-free pleasures. Sometimes the best things really do come in small packages.

From top left:

Vegetables - laminate, then put on a stick and call them garden stakes...

Number Vase - reminds me of the numbers pitcher + glass set I shouldn't have passed up at a flea market in France.

Floral - if I can figure out this gardening thing, I'd love to learn how to can...and use these on some cute jam jars.

Air Mail - a fun way to dress up old-fashioned correspondence

Bougie - that's French for "candle" in French...kind of a fun word, no?

Letter Tabs - for a collage...

Number Vase - reminds me of the numbers pitcher + glass set I shouldn't have passed up at a flea market in France.

French Can - awesome color combination...and let's admit it...everything looks prettier written in French :)

Red Border - use on gifts with white or kraft brown paper + red and white twine

  1. stephanie, if I can learn to can, you most certainly can can ;). Exactly what I'd use those labels for.
