SO much love went into these stairs...even more so than some of the other living spaces you've seen. The stairwell was quite a mess before, but look at how lovely they are now after new everything (sheet rock, paint, stain, more stain, railing, lighting and shelves). Great job honey...this was pretty much all you.
Beautiful. The whole house is just so beautiful. You have done wonders with it. Now if I could just convince my husband to take me there...
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to stay here one day. My in-laws have been to this area and say it is just beautiful. I love all the renovations you have done. You are really living the dream a lot of people have!
ReplyDeleteWhere exactly is that bookshelf? Is it halfway up so you can grab a book on your way upstairs? Those stairs are definitely a highlight.
ReplyDeletethose huge timbers are so beautiful. love how everything turned out...

ReplyDeleteThanks hon. I'll never forget how we tried to squeeze in all the finishing between 8pm and 4am when the kids were down. You were a good sport to live in La Maisonette with the 3 kids while it was still construction mahem! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI love the book nook. The whole thing looks so well done. Great job!
ReplyDeletePS. You guys are cute. :)
ReplyDeleteThat staircase alone is worth the trip. Perfect and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAnd hey, where is your Communal post? I want to see your pictures.
Amazing Ben! Those stairs had you working lots of late hours. They're gorgeous.
ReplyDeletel-o-v-e the stairs!
ReplyDeleteNow some nitty-gritty: what's the rise, run and width? I'm looking into doing a very similar stairwell in my 1920's bungalow.
Thanks!
in love, again! siggggghhhhhhh
