Eva's Studio

• 19 November 2009

A few weeks ago, I drove up through the mountains and visited the beautiful letterpress studio of Sycamore Street Press. Owners Eva and Kirk Jorgensen played perfect {and patient I might add} hosts to my two children and I. Kirk amused my kids with crayons and a soccer ball, while I tried to grab a take a handful of images of their beautiful space. After exchanging several emails with Eva this summer (it turns out she also lived in France too!), I was excited to see where she creates all of her gorgeous paperie and how her unique background plays into her art. From outside in, Sycamore Street Press is simply beautiful.

p.s. Eva asked me to participate in an itsy-bitsy interview on her blog today...take a peek if you feel so inclined :)

Just found your blog through Eva's Q&A...LOVE! And I am now in love with your blog! Jeesh...I think I need to put a list of just Utah bloggers on my blog --- way too many creative/talented ladies out there!!!

p.s. did Eva design those wallpapers in the background? LOOOOOVE those!

The wall-less space seems to expand the vision. It is mmmm, deliciousness! to have such a studio (for me, for my writing), I could die happy.

I knew Eva when she lived in Ohio and we were sad to see them go. I am glad you guys are friends (ok I realize I have never met you, but I feel like we could be friends. Her creations are amazing.
