Inspiration for La Maisonnette: Part 2/2
• 02 November 2009
I love how inspiration works...you take a little bit of this and a little bit of that and voila!...it's you and it's yours. Of course the important elements of "budget" and "availability" play a major part, and also contribute to the overall look of your personal space. These images are magazine tears I clipped over several months...some for the purpose of designing La Maisonnette and some because I simply loved them for any space...near or far.

ReplyDeleteI love the first photo you included on this post. Even though I'm nowhere close to buying (or renovating) my first house, I've been saving similar interior (and exterior!) images in an "inspiration photo folder." It's so fun to dream and revisit such comforting, gorgeous images.
ReplyDeleteOh - I love the twin bedroom. It just makes you want to snuggle under the duvet and read a good book! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteWhere did you get that sumptuous rug? I bet it feels wonderful underfoot...
ReplyDeleteI love inspiration photos! I redid my bathroom based on one and then shared it with my friends when we were done. I was amazed at how many ppl didnt get that Im not copying the room, so no I dont have the EXACT tiles. It was my inspiration!
