Italian Striped Umbrellas
• 19 July 2010
Now these are gorgeous. Umbrella maker Maglia Francesco began making umbrellas in Italy at the tender age of 14, before going on to start his own company in the mid-1850's. They've been an icon ever since. While they don't boast a cheap sticker price normally, they are currently on sale. I am officially tempted and could possibly feel inspired to fumble my way through "Singin' in the Rain" with this in tow. Plus, one could argue they could be used in self-defense...check out that lovely, hardwood point :)
oh, those are pretty!
