Pizza Party

• 01 July 2010

I loved these images from Casey's Supper Party over at the K.I.D. Collective. What a clever use of kraft brown wrapping paper. It's so simple it's brilliant! It kind of makes me want to host another pizza party...it's been years since we've done something like that. And when we do, we'll be using this easy, delicious pizza dough recipe.

What are your favorite toppings/combinations?

  1. hands-down, my favorite combination is grilled eggplant, sliced-in-rings red onion, homemade basil pesto, and shavings of Parmesan. And I LOVE the pizza crust recipe that MS Living featured from Pizzeria Bianco--I haven't used anything else since that article was published. I blogged about my pizza favorites here: http://icooktorelax.blogspot.com/2010/05/artisanal-style-pizza.html

  3. I remember your pizza party years ago in Boston. Your BBQ chicken pizza is still one of our favorites.

  6. Can I ask a quick question? Do you do the mixing by hand, or can you use a Kitchenaid? I'm desperate for a good pizza dough recipe but I'm totally clueless at this kind of stuff.

  8. What a great idea! That could be fun for a kid's birthday party, too. We've had pasta parties before where everyone brings a homemade pasta sauce (and the recipe). Fun!

  10. Emily,

I mix it by hand. Click on the link to the tutorial (in the post) and you'll see exactly how to do it. And don't worry, it's super easy!
