Update: Given the overwhelming response, I've had to make a few logistical modifications to the way the items on the "moving sale blog" are sold. Please view that blog for more info. Thank you so much for your interest!
Given the jump in cost of living, it's inevitable we'll be moving into a smaller space up in Seattle. This means I have many, many things to unload prior to moving next weekend! Because of this predicament, I'm hosting a moving sale on Saturday, October 16 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. I'd love to see you there! When you arrive, please let me know you are a blog reader; not only would I love to meet you, but I'm hoping to be able to put together little goodie bags for y'all.
In addition, I have many of my nicer, and often larger, pieces listed over here on this little blog (including that gorgeous bedding from Anthropologie so many of you have commented on in the past). Please email me if you're interested in viewing the items before the sale at: "stephmodo@gmail.com". Also, you are welcome to pick them up the day of the sale if you want to kill two birds with one stone.
Again, that's 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., no early birds please (I won't be ready!)
Cash only please.
Cash only please.
Hope to see you there!

We moved to Seattle from Utah 9 1/2 years ago ... It has taken a long time to catch up to the economy up here, especially with the recent 'slump'. And it took a long time to find 'community' for me.
ReplyDeleteWishing you the best 'garage sale', the best transition, and the best welcome to the PNW.
We moved to Seattle 3 1/2 years ago (from AZ) and we love it here. Good luck with your move.
ReplyDeleteDarn! Too bad I live in Boston and can't visit your moving sale! Your prices are seriously reasonable--dare I say a steal?! Good luck on Saturday and with the big move. Oh, and I'd love to hear how you decide what to take with you and what to get rid of. My usual way of moving is to just take all my furniture and then figure out what I really still need once I move in. I love how you plan ahead for your new space.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could come from Montreal to your sale... everything looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteBonne vente!
