Right now I am in the waiting room of a Seattle hospital while my little Baby Gray undergoes a little surgery. It's nothing major, but still a mother worries. Perhaps some of you have felt the same way...
Also, when you drop by your local grocery store or Costco in the next week or so, make sure you check for bouquets of cheerful, pink peonies in the floral section. I was thrilled to spot some just yesterday and I've already divided up the bouquet throughout my little house. A stem on my desk, a stem in my bedroom, and a few stems in the kitchen. I was inspired to do so by the comments left in the three dollar makeover post. Thank you for the inspiration!

Steph!! Oh sweet baby boy. Praying for you and baby. Yes, a mother does indeed worry no matter how big or small.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you today...I have spent some time in the surgery waiting room as a concerned mommy, too. I'm praying that time will pass quickly and peace will replace any worries.

ReplyDeleteThoughts & prayers with you and family today. Thanks for the inspiration on the Peonies. They remind me of my dear grandmother who I miss so dearly & taking flowers to family graves on Memorial Day weekend. Would be a great treat & reminder of her to get a bouquet.

And, we share another trait - the pretty petals of peonies. My favorite (along with Hydrangeas). I'm a sucker for big, bountiful blooms.
My recovery be swift!
best - d.

ReplyDeleteHope everything went well and recovery is fast!
I hope everything went well for baby Gray's surgery and I wish you both a good, restful weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove peonies, I have planted many bushes around my home and they have just finished flowering - I'm a little sad to say goodbye to them for another year.... I hope they bring you good cheer in your home for a while yet!
Stephanie...I hope the surgery went well for Baby Gray (and for mama too). Sending lots of love your way. xo
ReplyDeleteThank you all! The surgery went well (at least we think so thus far) and I hope he continues to mend. It is difficult to see two incisions in his little body. Ugh. But, thank you again for all the well wishes. It means a lot!
