Favorite One-Piece Swimsuits for 2011

• 20 June 2011

I find shopping for a swimsuit as much fun as denim shopping. Both I tend to avoid, yet both I totally appreciate more than anything else in my closet. C'est bizarre...

Anyway, if you're on the hunt for a cute suit to wear to the pool with the kiddos this summer, here are some of my favorites of the season. I love them all, but for different reasons--some are retro in feel, some modern, and some ultra-feminine. Any way you look at 'em though, they are really fabulous. Hopefully I saved a couple of you from surfing the web for hours in search of that perfect suit :) Happy Monday!

  1. I love your choices. I found my bathing suit at Lands End Canvas this year. Actually, I've had one bathing suit for the past 8 years!! So i was time to get a new one. They have some really cute choices and most of them are on super sale right now!

  6. I purchased that first blue ikat Jcrew suit-- there is no support for the boobs, so if you have a big chest it probably isn't a great idea...

  7. Links fixed...sorry about that!

Hannah, good to know about the ikat suit...I really wish JCrew would add more support up top. That is the only thing about their suits that drives me nuts!

  11. Those are all so pretty! I just ordered one from anthro (I only buy a new bathing suit like every five years because I so hate the process!) but if it doesn't work out I will try #1 for sure - so cute.

  15. I also just bought a suit at Canvas. I can't wait for it to arrive!

  16. Love #2! I just snagged it for $14.99.

  17. From the looks of your comments, I need to high tail it to Canvas and pick up one of those $15 suits! I don't really need one, but that pricing is awfully tempting. Fifteen bucks? Really?

That being said, I'm feeling the need for some midsection ruching so the Pietra is at the top of my list.

Good to know the IKAT suit from JCrew has no support. Some of their suits do and then some totally don't. It's one of the other with them!
