Today, over birthday lunch at local favorite Boat Street Cafe, my husband and I discussed the stimulating subject of "salt" (ha!) and what we think is the best salt in the world. Our conversation immediately reminded me of this beautiful post my friend Ashley wrote about making salt with her kids in nearby Puget Sound. She wrote the post a few weeks ago, but I cannot get it out of my head and just had to share it with you.
